FazerCards Glossary

Stablecoin

A cryptocurrency pegged 1:1 to a fiat currency (typically the US dollar). USDT and USDC are the main reseller-grade stablecoins.

Stablecoins are crypto assets engineered to track a fiat currency. USDT (Tether) and USDC (Circle) both peg to the US dollar. For B2B settlement they're attractive because the price is stable enough to invoice in dollars, the transfer is fast (seconds to minutes), and fees are tiny — much cheaper than card processing or international wire.

Key facts

  • FazerCards accepts USDT on four chains (TRC20, BEP20, TON, Aptos).
  • Pegging is maintained by reserves audited by the issuer.
  • Used by the vast majority of B2B crypto-settled flows.
