Tier discount
A discount tied to a paid plan tier rather than to individual order volume — the higher the tier, the better the per-order economics.
Tier discounts replace the classic per-order volume discount with a flat monthly plan. The reseller pays a monthly fee (e.g. US $9.99 Bronze, $19.99 Silver, $29.99 Gold on FazerCards), and every wholesale order automatically uses that tier's rebate. It is simpler to model than dynamic volume tiers and matches the reseller's actual cost shape (monthly catalog access + per-order debit).
